A noisy street to the north, rural-style houses set back behind tall trees to the east and west, and the shoreline of Lake Zurich to the south demarcate the site for this new villa construction. The ground-level garage and overlying swimming pool serve to establish the villa's eastern orientation; a detached guesthouse completes the ensemble. The expansiveness of the lake and the panoramic views of the Glarner Alps enrich the quality of the interior and exterior spaces.
