Der ursprünglich zweigeschossige Pavillion, 1957 vom Architekten Hans Hofmann erbaut und 1979 von Werner Stücheli umgebaut und erweitert, wird in der Überarbeitung räumlich gesäubert und erweitert. Im Zentrum stehen der typologische Gedanke des Pavillions und dessen horizontale Gliederung und transparente Gestalt im Kontrast zu den steinernen Altbauten der Umgebung.
The renovation and expansion of the Swiss Re company cafeteria, restaurant, and guest house – originally built as a two-story structure in 1957 by architect Hans Hofmann, and renovated and expanded in 1979 by Werner Stücheli – centers on juxtaposing the building's horizontal, transparent typology with that of the older stone buildings in the surroundings.
